Sleek thin padding only available on Polycarbonate helmets which have a higher degree of impact absorption then normal half helmets. Meets or exceeds DOT certification. Outlaw helmets are made to enhance the riding experience.

It is was it says. Meets DOT specs. Unfortunately SNELL does not rate Brain Buckets, but if they did, I couldn't possibly see this helmet falling short of their standards. I HIGHLY recommend it!

The term Skull Cap is a bit misleading. I ordered it because it claimed to be smaller than a DOT style helmet. Well it was as large as the formentioned helmet. Not what I was expecting.

"Skull Cap" is misleading! This helmet is actually BIGGER than my Harley DOT helmet. I purchased this helmet because it was claimed that it is the smallest leagal DOT approved helmet available....NOT TRUE AT ALL!!!!
